Sarajevo Meets New York

Architect Stefan Scheiber-Loeis from MeierPartners talked about the making of a high rise building, design and craftsmanship of construction, and gave a brief overview of latest museum projects he is developing at Meier Partners New York.

Stefan Scheiber-Loeis studied in Vienna and at the McGill University in Montreal. He received his Dipl. Ing. degree in Architecture from the Technical University of Vienna in 1994 and a Master's degree in Urban-Design as Fulbright Scholar in 1996 from the GSAPP at Columbia University, New York. Practicing as an Architect, he has developed large-scale projects over more than two decades with R. Meier & Partners in the US, Europe, and Asia. He is a licensed Architect in Germany since 1998 and a member of the BDA since 2001. Since 2019, he collaborates and advises urbanthinktank_next in architecture projects.
